However, sometimes we would prefer to limit the option of leaving comments.

First things first - how to go live on IG?
- Login to your account, and find the INSTAGRAM LIVE option.
This step is mandatory; otherwise, we will not be able to go live.
Now choose the icon for uploading a story, where you’ll find the button to start a live broadcast.
As soon as you click it, a notification about the live session’s about to start will appear. - Eliminate the viewers’ ability to leave comments.
Started a live session?
Brilliant! Now all that’s left is canceling the commenting option by tapping the 3 dots icon on the comments box.
Once the session started, the number of viewers will appear on the left corner of the screen.
Unfortunately, we can't filter or control the comments being left on our live sessions, or limit their quantities. However, it is possible to eliminate this option by selecting, ‘TURN OFF COMMENTING’.
